Bon Appétit at Levain

When HannHann first mentioned about her leisure xingfu breakfast there on a WEEKDAY morning at Levain, I was going to punch her drooling envy-ly. The first person I thought about was my dearest crazie 1/2French-1/2Korean sis Hyesung, and the way she dipped her croisant into the coffee...she would've love this place...

Finally, went there with my uni senpai on a beautiful Sunday. We're there for 4-5 hours in this neo-classical bungalow, laughing, 'eye-shopping', gossiping, philosophy-ing, future-planning...it's one awesome lazy arvo. The coffee, pastries & mushroom soup're yummilicious...and the service was, not as bad as claimed by many reviews, they improved I guess---the power of bloggers!!

The second visit was a super fun one with Sori-chan, we grabbed some freshly baked bread from the stone oven, packed 10 colourful macaroons, booked a bus ticket, caught in the jam a bit...and made it back to the office within ONE hour lunch break, at 12.55pm----phewww!!! Mission accomplished with full satisfaction. (Now that she's leaving soon, finger-crossed that she'll be called back to Merlion Land soon, so that we can have more food-hunting la...)

Not only until one after-work evening that we got to try the hot menu from the kitchen. Less crowd compared to morning and afternoon. Not bad, not much surprise though. We're super full, luckily we had 2 boys to 'clear up the plates', pretty entertained by 2 of them too---funny in their own way.
